Bronze Dungeon

[[File:Slider.png|right|300px]]Bronze dungeons are randomly generated inside aether islands. An empty hallway made of [[Mossy Holystone]] and normal [[Holystone]] will lead you to the bronze dungeon. These can be seen on the side of an island, or a lower section of the surface. The boss of the bronze dungeon is a [[Slider]].

Inside, the dungeon is identified by a large square room of [[Carved Stone]] and an occasional [[Sentry Stone]]. While these blocks cannot be mined inside the dungeon (as any dungeon), killing a [[Sentry]] will drop either a [[sentry stone]], or [[carved stone]]. The boss will drop a decent amount of [[Carved Stone]] and give you a [[bronze key]].

== How to defeat the [[Slider]]==

The [[slider]] is first activated when hit using any pickaxe, this is the tool to fight it. It is advised to use a diamond or [[gravitite pickaxe]] with decent durability, or several zanite/iron pickaxes as the boss will take a toll on the durability. Using a potion of strength II is also advised, for it will boost your damage dealt to the [[Slider]].

The [[Slider]] will attack you by sliding at you in 2 dimensional, 1 direction movements (it will not move diagonally). It can be easily avoided by circling around it; predicting it's movement. After enough attacks, the slider will turn red and speed up it's movement. If you find yourself attacked, it will deal 3 hearts initially and launch you up into the air, which will deal extra fall damage. With that said, [[gravitite armor]] should be used as it protects you from fall damage.

== Loot==

Once defeated, the [[Slider]] gives you a [[bronze key]] which is used to open the, now revealed, chest under the [[Slider]]'s platform. Available loot:
*[[Valkyrie lance]](Increases reach limit.)
*[[Gold Gummie Swets]](Instantly heals all hearts.)
*[[Blue Gummie Swets]](Instantly heals all hearts.)
*[[Phoenix Bow]](Shoots arrows of fire.)
*[[Lightning Knife]](Throw knife at location and lightning stikes at the block stuck.)
*[[Hammer of Notch]](Has the ability to shoot an iron ingot.)

Gold dungeons are located in the [[Aether]] and contain the best loot among all [[dungeons|Aether-dungeons]]. Their appearance is always the same: a floating, round island with [[Golden Oak Trees]] on top. The entrance to the gold dungeon is on the side of the island. Having a [[moa|Black Moa]] significantly simplifies finding those dungeons.

= The Boss =

The gold dungeon itself is just one square room with the boss inside. That boss is a fire monster/Sun God. Right clicking it once will close the entrance and start the boss fight. It is not possible to kill the gold boss with any weapon. Instead, he will sometimes shoot blue frozen orbs in random directions, which you have to hit to "shoot" them in the direction of the gold boss. If the orb hits the gold boss he loses health, turns frozen for a second and summons a small minion. That [[minion]] looks similar to the gold boss but behaves differently. He will not shoot any orbs but instead attack you directly. The player takes damage upon "touching" the [[minion]]. However, he can be killed with a Gravitite/diamond sword easily. After hitting the boss enough with frozen orbs, he will die and drop a [[golden key]]. The entrance to the gold dungeon and another entrance to a secret room will open. The secret room contains a chest which can be opened with the [[golden key]].

= Strategy =

The gold dungeon is rather easy to beat. You will need the following items:
* A [[Gravitite]]/Diamond sword.
* About two buckets filled with water.

Before fighting the boss, create a temporary warp outside the dungeon to quickly return in case you die.

While fighting the boss stick to the walls. Always keep an eye on the gold boss. Touching him will cause massive damage and quickly kill you. As long as you can avoid touching him, it's relatively easy to survive. If you take any damage or catch fire. Afterwards (if you are on fire) drop some water below you to stop the fire and pick the water up again. Remember to keep an eye on the boss while healing/dropping the water as the fire won't do that much damage to you (in contrast to the boss) and the water will evaporate if the boss comes in contact with it.

Wait for one of the frozen orbs being in a good position to "shoot" it at the boss([[Valkyrie lance]] may help, giving you range to hit the orb). Do not try to chase every frozen orb as that will just get you distracted and quickly kill you, especially as the orbs have about the same speed as the walking speed of a player. When a minion pops up, just kill it with the [[gravitite sword]] (takes about 3-4 hits) Repeat the whole process until the boss is dead.

Having a [[Hammer of Notch]] makes it even easier to fight the boss as then you can kill the minions from the distance. Additionally you can hit the frozen orbs with the hammer's ranged attack([[Valkyrie lance]] may help too,as mentioned). Using SEVERAL Hammers of Notch allows you to simply spam them at the boss, making the fight extremely easy.

The following items are among all items that can be found in the chests of gold dungeons:

* [[Vampire Sword]] (Lifesteal when used to attack an enemy.)
