Previously, the easiest way to gain these was through the "helper of the week" contest, supported by Mr. Blobby. Currently, however, the contest is not being sponsored, and the swet cape should be considered completely unobtainable except through trading.

The End

The End can be accessed by activating an end portal in a [[Stronghold]].

Craftland's end is different from normal Minecraft's end. Each portal activated will generate it's own island, completely fresh. In addition, out of each of these portals there will be a number of islands that are a few hundred blocks apart. There is a boss in the end named the Enderdragon. However, due to a number of bugs, the Enderdragon will almost always be absent. This has resulted in a new craftland sport, known as "dragon hunting", where players will band together to find dragons.

Recently, nidefawl removed the ability to pick up dragon eggs, and apparently the ability will be added to spawn dragons from eggs; hopefully, this will increase the dwindling enderdragon population, although some worries about xp grinding have been raised.

The Swamp was a special dimension on Craftland. It had a mostly flat area, with many flowers and small lakes. There were plenty of caves reaching from ground to bedrock level, containing more diamonds than the caves in the normal world.

== Spawners ==

The swamp is known for the vast amounts of spawners you could find there. On the surface, there were spawners for passive mobs, including chicken, cow, pig, wolf and sheep spawners. Underground, there were plenty of so called spooky rooms (as well as superdungeons). These are made out of netherrack and contain about 4 to 8 spawners each, usually zombie, spider or skeleton spawners. Sometimes, one could be lucky and find one or more ghast spawners in a spooky room. More rare are superdungeons which look similar to the dungeons in the normal world, however, they are usually bigger and often made of several rooms. Each of these rooms contained a spawner and a chest. Very rare items such as chain mail armor, stacks of coal/iron, and sponges could be found in these chests. You could have also found things that are not normally obtainable, such as coal and diamond ore. More spawners could be found in caves. These lie on the ground without any special blocks around them. Nevertheless, they should not be ignored as sometimes they spawn zombie pigmen, creepers or slimes. (Zombie pigmen and slime spawners being the most rare)

== How to Get There ==

You were get to the swamp by building a portal made of '''mossy cobblestone''' and igniting it with flint and steel (similar to how you ignite the nether portal). Then just go into the portal and it teleports you to the swamp. Mossy cobblestone can be found in dungeons in the normal world or may be created by using seeds on cobblestone (right click with the seed on cobblestone, requires plenty of seeds). This is available through the skill: Herbalism.

== Ores ==

Ores in caves are more common than regular ores. However, they occur in smaller deposits than in the Overworld.

For example, you could find diamond at the entrance to a cave, but it would be only 2-4 ore blocks.

Ores could also be obtained at MUCH higher levels, and due to some world rendering glitches it was possible to simply walk along the side of large cliffs and pick diamonds out of the rock.

== Bedrock ==

Bedrock is flat in the Swamp.

== Trees ==

Trees are common in the Swamp. Occasionally you could find Stone trees, who are rather like giant Brown Mushrooms, but made of birch wood and regular stone. Rarely, ores, floating gravel, and (even more rarely) loot chests from Dungeons can be found as part of the tree top.

== Enemies ==

Hostile mobs were once more prevalent in the Swamp, most likely because it was more flat there, giving more room for mobs to spawn. The spawn rate in the Swamp also seemed to be increased.

Zanite Ore

When mined, it drops one [[Zanite Gemstone]], which can be used to make [[Zanite Tools]], [[Zanite Armor]], or Enchanters. [[Zanite tools]] are unique; the more damaged they are, the faster they work. The [[Zanite Sword]] will deal more damage the more it is worn out. [[Zanite Armor]] will protect you from more and more damage until it wears out or is repaired.

Zanite Ore can be obtained from Silk touch [[Zanite]], [[Holystone]] and [[Gravitite]] picks.

Cockatrice

The Cockatrice is a Moa-like hostile mob that spawns in darkness in the [[Aether]], similarly to Overworld hostiles. It has darker coloration than [[Moa|Moas]] and shoots poisoned darts at you. They are highly mobile and move quickly. Taking them out with a ranged weapon is recommended.

Previously, the spawn rate of cockatrices was quite high; now, fortunately, their spawn rate has been significantly lowered and seeing one is rare.

Lightning knives are Bronze dungeon rewards. When thrown (right-click), they create a single bolt of lightning. This lightning will act as normal lightning; effects such as transforming pigs to pigzombies still applies. Found in stacks up to 16, they're famous because of their ability to kill players while in non-pvp regions. Though overpowered, they're undoubtedly one of the strongest dungeon rewards.

Golden Oak Leaves

Golden Oak Leaves are obtainable by shears. They come from [[golden Oak Trees]] found on Golden Dungeon Islands. These leaves will drop [[Golden Oak Saplings]] and Golden Apples when they decay.

You can pick these up using Silk Touch tools.
