[[Fishing Rod]]s on Craftland are different from Vanilla in the fact that you need to create them in a custom crafting station, the [[Tool Station]], with specific materials to suit your needs.

[[Fishing Rod]]s are divided into 3 parts;
* Rod - This part of the [[Fishing Rod]] will usually determine the durability of the rod, but sometimes will have an affect on how people fish.
* String - This part of the [[Fishing Rod]] is usually cosmetic, but can affect how people fish.
* Tackle - This part of the [[Fishing Rod]] affects what kind of things the player can find, eg. can make rare fish more common, or grant coins when fishing.

== Trivia ==
* On release of the rework, players could still "repair" their [[Fishing Rod]]s in a <item n="Enchanter"/>. Due to how the [[Enchanter]] functions, this would reset the [[Fishing Rod]] back into an <item n="Oak Fishing Rod"/>.
* On release of the rework, players could craft the Valkyrie Fishing Rod. This means that there are still some custom Valkyrie Fishing Rods out there with Phoenix Strings and custom Tackles!
