Craftland has a skill system based on the plugin McMMO. You can get more information about the plugin here. McMMO is a plugin that allows people role-play in a way. Sometimes when mining wood or hitting a mob you will level up. Leveling up a skill increases its potency. For example, leveling unarmed will grant you more unarmed damage and increasing your chance to disarm an opponent, taking whatever they are currently wielding. But you should give back the items, if you disarm someone if they didn't agree to the rules. Not doing so may result in consequences.

Skills disabled

  • Archery (The skill is been removed since the addition of the Aether to the server. The reason for this is because the Phoenix Bow (a dungeon reward) fires arrows that sets enemies and blocks on fire, making the Ignition perk of the skill useless. Charged bows also killed the damage bonus.)
  • Fishing (This skill is not in the current version of McMMO that is used in Craftland, fishing was added in later versions of McMMO, Nidefawl might add it at a later date.)
  • Repair With update 3.5 (January 2013) the repair with iron-blocks ability of McMMO has been disabled. Craftland uses an alternative version of the repair skills, allowing players to train it using normal Minecraft anvils.
  • Skill Levels With update 4.91 skill levels have been upped to 1200. Previously, it was 1000.
