Basic Information
The Book of Lore is an outdated ingame item which tries to add an "Ingame Wiki" to certain items and blocks.
Usage
When right clicked, the item brings up a GUI with one input slot. When an item is placed in this slot, on the right hand side information will be displayed about the item.
The item has not been updated in a while, and is unlikely to be updated in the future. The wiki is a better place for information on items.

Cannot be crafted
Obtained using the "/book" command.
