Block Beach is the southern terminal station of Lines D and DX of the Togcity and Block Nation subway. It is located at the Block Beach south of the Capitol Building and west of the Memorial Plaza.
Platform and track configuration
Lines D and DX have two tracks and two side platforms each. Line D's tracks and platforms are laid out normally, except the southbound track and platform are one meter higher than the northbound track and platform. Past Line D's southbound track and platform is Line DX's southbound track and platform, again one meter higher. West of these three tracks and platforms is Line DX's northbound track and platform, oriented perpendicular to the other three tracks and platforms.
History
The first part of this station to be built was Line D's platforms. Line DX was added later when it was extended from Capitol Building.
