Aerogel is an unobtainable block, only found in the Voteshop (20 Aerogel for 10 Votepoints). The only place you can obtain it is through the achievement "The Sky Is The Limit!". Aerogel is a block that used to be acquirable from dungeon chests. It is the Aether equivalent of Obsidian, and is immune to explosive damage.
