Red rock is found in Mountain Ridge biomes. When mined with a pickaxe it drops red cobblestone. When mined with a pickaxe that has the enchantment silk touch it drops a red rock block. These may be crafted into Red Rock Slabs. Unlike stone, these cannot be used to make Red Rock Brick, Instead you have to use Red Cobblestone.
