Capitol Street North is a station on Lines B, D, and DX of the Togcity and Block Nation Subway. Line B's level is elevated above Capitol Avenue, while Lines D/DX's level is located underground. Line B's level existed long before Lines D and DX were built. Capitol Street North is the northernmost subway station on Capitol Avenue, as Line B continues without making more stops on it while Lines D and DX turn east at this station, continuing under Block Park.
Platform and track configuration
On the upper level, Line B has two tracks and two wide side platforms. Each platform has a staircase down to the street level. Underground, Lines D/DX have two tracks and two wide island platforms. Each platform has two staircases to a mezzanine, which then has two staircases up to the street level.
History
In the beginning, the elevated Line B above Capitol Avenue passed through the area of Block Park without making a stop between Grand Central and Etho City Square. However, Capitol Street North was eventually added as the only stop on the elevated portion of Line B. It was the same as today when first built. Later, in 2015, Lines D and DX were extended westward from Block Park West to this station, and ended at it for a brief period before being extended to Western Mine.
