The Golden Oak Log is one of the two blocks that makes a Golden Oak Trees, you can obtain it by using a Zanite Axe or better, attempting to harvest with any weaker axe will yeild in normal Skyroot Logs.
Using the woodcutting ability Tree Feller will cause the chopped wood, including all the other wood to be Golden Oak Logs, despite not actually chopping the wood with the high rank axe.
