Votepoints are a virtual ingame currency (similar to coins) which can be spent on various items at the Voteshop. You get one votepoint everytime you vote. Voting is possible every 20 hours (type /vote ingame). It is possible to view the amount of votepoints you have by pressing "U" and then looking at the top-right corner of the screen that appeared.
