West Hannaford is a station along Hannaford Avenue in Block Nation. It is very close to the easternmost end of the city, and has no warp.

West Hannaford station was first built for Line A of the Togcity Subway (Block Nation's name was once Togcity), and featured 2 tracks and 2 side platforms, one track and one side platform per level, similar to the layout of Hannaford. Later, when the Northern Line was extended eastward from Grand Central, the walls next to the side platforms were removed and a track was added on each level, turning the side platforms into island platforms. For a while, both the Northern Line and the subway's Line A ended at this station. Later, with minimal changes, the two lines were extended eastward past this station.

This station follows the GCR's naming convention of including the city or area name if there is more than one stop in that city or area, and on signs the station is called Togcity West Hannaford. On signs outside of Togcity, the station is mostly referred along with Grand Central as simply Togcity.

While Togcity was renamed to Block Nation in early 2014, the West Hannaford station has not been updated to the new name.

Platform and track configuration

This station is one of the few Greycliff Continental Railway stations with multiple levels. On the upper level is all eastbound service, while the lower level has the westbound service. Both levels have 2 tracks and an island platform between them.

History

Initially, this was a Togcity Subway terminal. Soon after, the Northern Line was extended here from Grand Central. Other than signs being added, the tracks being added, and the passageways being moved, not much was changed. Due to this station being minimally remodeled twice, in order to accommodate the Northern Line and eventually the extension of both lines eastward, the passageways are oddly routed and the station generally is not very convenient. Signs with the station stops of the lines were an afterthought, and only present at the platform levels. It is expected that this station will be renovated completely, making it more convenient.
