Aerogel is a block obtainable from the Voteshop for a price of 20 Aerogel per 10 Votepoints or from the achievement "The Sky Is The Limit!". Aerogel was previously acquirable from dungeon chests. It is the Aether equivalent of Obsidian, and is immune to explosive damage.
