Daylight Sensors are a Minecraft Vanilla Item. They are used with Redstone to have day and night time cycled Redstone contraptions. Some players use these Sensors to allow light to be turned on through out their town when its night time and turn off all the lights during the day. Pretty much if the Sun is up, it will give power to the sensor. If its night time there will be no power.
