The new world is one of new worlds that came with the server update to 1.9 pre1. This world contains all the new features of the 1.9 pre1 update of minecraft self.
This used to be the spawn for new players. The used to spawn in Apprentice Region, a different area from the actual newworld spawn. To return there, do /warp Beginner. To get to the newworld spawn, enter /warp newworld.
How to get here?
You can travel to this world by:
- Making a sandstone portal and light it with a flint & steel
- Warping: /warp newworld, this warp takes you to the spawn place of this world.
