Craftland's end is different from normal Minecraft's end. Each portal activated will generate it's own island, completely fresh. In addition, out of each of these portals there will be a number of islands that are a few hundred blocks apart.  There is a boss in the end named the Enderdragon.  However, due to a number of bugs, the Enderdragon will almost always be absent.  This has resulted in a new craftland sport, known as "dragon hunting", where players will band together to find dragons.

Recently, nidefawl removed the ability to pick up dragon eggs, and apparently the ability will be added to spawn dragons from eggs; hopefully, this will increase the dwindling enderdragon population, although some worries about xp grinding have been raised.
