Cactus Fruit was a planned crop that could be planted on Sand. The crop was going to grow similar to a berry bush. The fruit's crop did not make it into the release of the Seed Mutator , but in the future you might see a crop for this come around.
Trivia:
Only one player on the server has or was given a Cactus Fruit. They were given one during a Four Corners Event.
