Boss Medals were added in version 5.02. It is dropped by bosses at /arena or /warp arena. Boss Medal can be traded with a NPC at /arena or /warp arena for different kind of items, ranging from spawn eggs (different mobs), hats, Warp Pad, Name Tag and Valkyrie Armor. These trades are worth looking a look.
