About

Monster Hunt is a scheduled event that will take place when the sun sets in any regular world (World, New World, Greycliff and Deepvale).

The event lasts the entire duration of the night (Approximately 9-10 minutes) and can any player can participate no matter what world they are in (as long as it's not a world that allows creative for players other than Admins). A message in chat will appear when the Monster Hunt becomes active.

Monsters and Points

Points will be rewarded based on the entity that is killed. Bare in mind that the entity must be Hostile otherwise you are not rewarded with any points.

• [!] Bosses do not currently grant any Monster Hunt Points (Excluding the Elysian Knight who gives 10).
• [!] Mobs that are spawned from a Mob Spawner no longer grant points as of Loot Update Part 1.
• [!] The amount of points gained will be multiplied by the level of the entity killed (Killing a lv5 creeper will give 50 (10pts x 5lv = 50)).

When killing an entity, a notification at the top of the screen will appear telling you what you killed, how many points you gained and the total earned:

Additionally, another notification will appear if you pass another player and if you pass your last highscore!

Bonus Points

Penalties

• [!] Dying during the Monster Hunt will cause you to lose 2 points.

Rewards

Most of the time you will be given 1-1000 coins at random. Regardless of points gained or placement earned.

OR

There is a semi-low chance you will get one of these items from Monster Hunt as a reward:

• 1-4x Nether Star
• 1-8x White Point Star

OR

There is a low chance you will get one of these items from Monster Hunt as a reward, the player who gets this has a chance based on the total points and their points gathered that night:
